Welcome to Legacy Yearbooks!
Whether this is your first year as a yearbook adviser or you just need a quick refresher, this guide will help you know where to start and what to focus on throughout the yearbook season.
1. Review Your Yearbook Details & Deadlines
Start by reviewing your yearbook specifications, page count, important deadlines, and submission date. Keeping these dates handy will help you stay on track throughout the school year.
2. Plan Your Book
Use your Yearbook Ladder to map out the sections and pages you would like to include in your book. Planning your book early makes the design process much easier as the year progresses.

3. Get Familiar with Yearbook EZ
Log in to Yearbook EZ and take some time to explore the Yearbook Ladder, Photos, Sales, Users, and Adviser Configure areas available to you. Video Help is also available within the software for quick tutorials.
4. Start Collecting & Organizing Photos

8. Design, Review & Keep Making Progress
Work on your book throughout the year rather than waiting until the final deadline. Continue adding photos, completing sections, reviewing pages, and checking your overall progress as your yearbook comes together.
9. Proof & Submit Your Yearbook
Before submitting your book for print, carefully review your completed yearbook for spelling, portrait information, photo quality, page content, and any remaining warnings. Use Preview & Submit in Yearbook EZ to complete the final proofing and submission process.
