Organizing photos as you collect them will make designing your yearbook much easier later!
Here are a few simple ways to keep your photos organized throughout the school year:
Create Folders That Match Your Book
Organize candid photos by event, grade, class, sport, club, or yearbook section. Using clear folder names will make photos easier to find when you begin designing.
Upload Photos Throughout the Year
Try to upload photos shortly after events happen instead of saving everything until the end of the year.
Choose Your Favorites
Yearbook EZ allows advisers to rate candid photos using 1–5 stars. Ratings appear on photo thumbnails, and higher-rated photos are sorted toward the top of the folder, making it easier to find your best options.
Collect Photos From Others
Use Photo Post when you need teachers, parents, coaches, or others in your school community to contribute photos.
Watch Student Coverage
As you build your book, make an effort to include a variety of students and activities throughout the year.
A little organization along the way can save a lot of time when you're ready to design your pages.
