A little progress throughout the school year can make final submission much easier!
Use these simple steps to help keep your yearbook on track:
1. Know Your Deadlines
Keep your yearbook submission date and other important school dates somewhere easy to reference.
2. Plan Your Book Early
Use your Yearbook Ladder to decide what sections and events you want to include before you begin designing.
3. Follow Your Monthly Adviser Guides
Legacy Yearbooks sends a Monthly Adviser Guide with reminders, tips, resources, and suggested next steps based on where you should be in the yearbook process.
4. Collect Photos All Year
Don't wait until spring to start looking for photos. Upload and organize photos throughout the year as events happen.
5. Complete Sections as You Go
Work on finished events and sections throughout the year rather than waiting until the entire book is ready.
6. Check Your Progress Regularly
Use the Yearbook EZ Activity Page and Yearbook Ladder to monitor your book and see which sections still need attention.
7. Leave Time to Proof
Plan to have your book completed early enough to carefully review portraits, names, photos, page content, and warnings before final submission.
Helpful Resource: Be sure to check the Monthly Adviser Guides throughout the year for timely reminders and next steps.
